Wells Fargo Acceptance ripoff, dishonest, rude and can't keep agreements made Chester Pennsylvania
*Consumer Comment: What?
*Consumer Comment: When you deal with collections
After receiving 4-5 calls daily, we make payment arrangements or check by phone with confirmation numbers, Wells Fargo Accept. still calls. How can they get away with this. I've been in this kind of business for 15 years and if I spoke to my customers like they speak to me, I would be out of a job. You can never get a Supervisior and when you first speak to them they say the calls is being recorded... How can that be, if they can't remember who you spoke to last!!!!

What?

So if one of your payments falls late, you probably cannot afford the vehicle? Are you serious? Bad things happen to good people, and occasionally something takes precedent over making sure that payment is paid on the exact date of payment agreed.
You are giving these guys far too much credit. WFA does not keep a "Notes" system on their computers, so they have no idea about anything pertaining to your account, except what the balance is.
I am in a situation with these guys right now (see link below)in which after 6 months, I cannot get my vehicle tagged or pay taxes on it, because the auto dealer never sent the proper titling information to my state, and now the only people that can fix this problem is the leinholder (WFA) who refuses to send a simple fax to the DMV!
Every time I call, I have to go througd the entire story, again, and had they even cared a little bit, they would have taken notes on the last 25 phone calls I had made. So making a long story short, I had to purchase a new vehicle, and I am sueing and requiring WFA to take the vehicle back. and they can take it up with the car dealer who screwed it up in the first place. Because I have done all I am going to do. (And of course I have been insuring and making payments on the vehicle the entire time I have been unable to legally drive it) Want to prove I can handle those payments. Ya know! GEEZ!

When you deal with collections

When you deal with collections, you are likely going to receive calls until your account is brought current. It is likely you will receive multiple calls daily. You speak with one collector, make payment arrangements, the information is entered but unless the account is brought into current status it is still delinquent. It remains in their database and your number is probably dialed automatically by the system. The individual collector is usually paid salary plus commission so when the next collector gets a call to you queued to them they are only interested in their piece of the pie.
Don't expect to really get a supervisor if you ask for one. I worked at one time in a call center, if an irate customer asked for a supervisor they were simply switched to the coworker at the next desk. The supervisors rarely, if ever take calls.
A lot of people get behind in car payments. If you are having this much trouble with the payments you might not be able to really afford the car. Consider selling it if you can get a price that will take care of your loan, or you can get someone to simply take over payments.
