Wells Fargo Acceptance I.D. Theft from Auto Loan Company Des Moines, Iowa

After recently reviewing my credit report, I noticed that in 2003 and 2004 I had two "auto loans" listed under Wells Fargo Acceptance. The terms were listed as 24 month loans and it was also noted that both of those loans were paid off!

Please note that in 2001, I purchased an auto from Wells Fargo Acceptance which has long been paid off. I am now, unfortunately in the process of purchasing another auto from Wells Fargo. However, according to my credit report...while I was in the process of buying car no. 1, someone....somewhere, somehow got ahold of my information and instigated two auto loans...using MY information.

The first thing I did was contact a representative locally. He sounded very sympathetic and told me over and over again that they/he would do everything to help me out...but he never did call me back. When I finally called him back....I was offered fax nos...to their "Wells Fargo Credit Dispute Team," yet I have received...no phone call...no fax, nor any type of communication. I am demanding copies of these suposed loan documents yet NO ONE seems to know anything. The whole thing is comical because if there is NO way with my meager income could I have afforded 3 cars at once...and I can prove that...

Folks please stay away from these people. They are unprofessional, "dicey" and you don't need the stress!!!! I certainly didn't deserve this...I was a great customer...!

Also, I was told by a legal professional that the loans more than likely were an "inside job."
