I paid off my loan with this company, Wells Fargo Acceptance, two weeks ago, and they keep claiming they haven't received the check. I feel that this is impossible. It should not take over two weeks to receive the check and send a paid in full letter. This company has, also, charged me over $800 for insurance because they claimed that the insurance on the car was cancelled. This was not true, my insurance on that car was never cancelledby my insurance company.

I feel that this company is not aboveboard. I am so glad that I was able to pay off the loan, and be rid of them. All I want is my papers saying that the loan was paid. Is that asking to much?

Not sure he has the title yet...

AUTHOR: Christopher - (U.S.A.)

Seems they are trying to charge him more money before they relinquish the title. Hey, at least you paid the bums off! They are getting my behicle they financed back. I have been trying for 6 months for them to furnish my NC DMV with a copy of my title so I can get it tagged and pay property tax on it. All I have to even show I have affiliation with this vehicle is a sales slip.

After 6 months, and no replies after months and months of calls, and even 2 conference calls with the DMV and WFA. They can do what they want with thsi vehicle.

They are breaking the law, and I have my attourney working on it right now. I was forced to buy a new car, because I had no legal means of getting around. All while paying for this car. They are terrible. AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE!!

Same kind of situation

I was wondering how long it took you to receive your title once you paid off your loan. I paid mine off 2 months ago and still no title or response from them. They are a horrible company to deal with!

I must thank all of you on RipOff Reports for your complaints against Wells Fargo.

I received a letter today about their "BusinessLine" line of credit and I was thinking about getting involved. But after seeing over 300 complaints against Wells Fargo, I figured it would save me a lot of hassle if I just chunk their advertisement instead.

Thank you, every one of you. You all saved me from a potentially costly mistake.
