Amazon Beware the Add-On Products From Amazon Internet

Amazon has increased the cost 20 % of being a Prime Member without adding any benefits. A bold move for sure. But they have also decided to continue "fulfilling" the shipment of low cost items while refusing to honor the Prime membership shipping promise. I must admit that only 50% of my regular orders ever qualify for 2 day shipping anyway due to some loophole or another.. However, "add-on" items are a new thing that Amazon doesn't talk about. With this class of product, you can order it, but Amazon never has to ship it to you unless you, at some point, buy additional items. I did that. I bought something I didn't really need until about 60 days from now just so I could get my "add-on" product held by Amazon. When the order was fulfilled, Amazon forgot to put the "add-on item" in the box, So my extra purchase was wasted and customer service at Amazon refused to send me the item. I asked for a refund since I was billed for the item. Amazon refused to give me a refund until I returned the item. Finally, they agreed to refund the item. Weeks later, no refund. I called customer service who said that "we" needed to "find" the under $10 item. I told them to find it themself since they never provided it to me. Eventually after multiple calls on both sides, they agreed to the refund. Amazon is growing, we are losing.
