Amazon 3 kindles fail for the same reason in less than 4 years and Amazon says, stick it Nationwide

I have owned three Amazon Kindles in less than 4 years. Everyone failed for the same reason. Over time they begin to shut down regardless of being 100% charged. None of the three were abused or dropped. Upon contacting support at Amazon I was assured that this problem was exclusive to me. I have several emails from different employees clearly stating that this problem is unacceptable and will be corrected. I have emails from Amazon employees clearly stating that their products are made to the highest quality and are made to last years. In the same emails they make clear that my problem should not have occurred. Then they go on to tell me they will not give me a replacement as this would be a freebie and the product was out of warranty.

i have had three Kindles in under 4 years.  I never asked for anything for free. I did suggest they allow me to give them their failed Kindle for a new one that works. I believe there must be thousands of Kindle users having the same problem. I believe that Amazon says one thing and does another. The only conclusion that one can make in my position is that Amazon has planned obsolescence in their Kinles.
