Americatel Rip-off to Cuban families on Mother's day by Americatel (10-10-123) leave us on a sour note Miami Florida

On mothers day I tried to talk to my 99yr. old mother and called Americatel. their operator said the lines were overcharged and to please try my call again later so I kept dialing and never got connected. Now I get a bill for every time I called Americatel as if I got connected to Cuba.

On two occasions I got crossed lines with someone in Canada who was also trying to connect with Cuba and with someone who lived in New York who was in the same crossed line. none of us were ever connected to Cuba or any person in Cuba but still they say that if I waited on the line to get connected for more than one minute I would be charged for that call as if I got connected.

This is not only a rip-off but an abuse on senior citizens because my mother in Cuba stayed by the phone all day waiting for the call of her only son that she has not seen for half a century and she is 99yrs. old and I am almost 80yr. and very sick. They are charging me $42.36 for 13 calls to Cuba which never got through. I talked to a guy named Ruben on May 28 and he said It was all fine that I would not be charged, but now I get the bill for May is a different story.

I talked to a Natalie and she sounded like a broken record if the call is for more than one minute you have to pay, you have to pay, you have to pay. she will not transfer me to a supervisor and said she will only give me an $8.00 credit. Well I am not paying for services not rendered. So I will not pay, I will not pay, I will not pay.
