I am a dealer in WA state and was scammed by eps90. the rep DID say we
got paid upfront on the hold Checks and there was NO cancellation fees.
Since FEB 2011 i have found at least 4 other local dealers that where
told the same lies with the same scam. We are grouping together to
at least let the truth be known about this company. I am sure that not all EPS reps misrepresent their service but it seems to be a common thing across the US.

We where told we could scan hold checks thru a machine that could be post dated 90 days out. We would receive all the money up front and eps 90 would collect the money. The rep told us we could cancel at anytime and that if it didnt make us money he would come get the equipment and we would be done no problems.
The fee's for services where not what was promised and the companies response about the REP was, They are contract employees. we can not control what they tell you. They knew the rep lied and basically said we don't care.
In a nutshell, Nobody is taking responsibility for the lies their sales rep speak in order to make a buck off us small businesses.
We cancelled our bank account to stop them from taking money from us. its the only way out.
Please don't make the same mistake we did. Read the fine print.

after 'contract' is formally cancelled WHY do they still remove funds from the acct?

AUTHOR: Mattress Makers - (United States of America)

POSTED: Friday, January 06, 2012

you can 'poo poo' about contracts & missing details & lying sales reps.

FACT is this EPS 90 & American Financial Services & whomever you want to alias your 'service' as. You (bank wise) only have the name of Merrik Bank on those contracts but as each month the 'fees' are taken by automatic withdrawl they link to Wells Fargo!
You remove Credit card fees for no service provided - I mean that the fees are deducted even when you do not use that service or signed up for the service  - ever.

And then after you (the business that has been screwed out of all these fees, charges, maintenance... stop promoting this as a finance company - this after many fees & warranty for the expensive machine that you charge 4 times the cost for AND the annual fee (need I go on)

AND even after you formally cancel the contract in writing & have your return receipt - STILL you remove those fees...
We  had to change our checking acct as we disputed those above mentioned charges for the months of Nov & Dec... Still you attempt to steal more money this Jan.

EPS 90 & American Financial Services are professional banking theives!

Furthermore; they still owe us in the neighborhood of $2500! They can mail a check - but then they lied about the 90 day up to $5000 guarentee. We are not holding our breath, if you know what I mean.

ALWAYS READ a contract before you sign

AUTHOR: AwareCustomer - (United States of America)

POSTED: Friday, August 05, 2011

It is sad that so many seem to be misled by sales people, but people lie all the time, this is not new to society.  People should always read a contract before signing it, it is a legal document and unfortunately ignorance is not a legal defense.

Although I feel bad when someone is taken advantage of, I also feel that we should take responsibility for our own actions or laziness to check the details.  It is our own responsibility to take care of ourselves by doing our due diligence, not a random sales persons, and not the companies.
