I received an advance from this company recently. The terms of my contract state I can revoke authorization on an ACH up to 3 days prior to the payment due date.
I sent an email a week before the payment was due informing them I needed to revoke auth on my ACH and to contact me by phone or email confirming the received my email.

Today is Tuesday and I did not receive a response so I called them personally. The customer service rep would not assist me so I requested to speak with a supervisor. She transferred me to Tim Atkins.

I informed him of my desire to revoke auth on the ACH and he went off on me. He said he does not allow "his best customers" to skip payment and would not allow me to either.

I informed him he LEGALLY had to accept my request to revoke the auth per the terms of our CONTRACT and the law. He said he did not care what the law or contract says. He also stated he did not receive my email requesting the revokement but "somehow" knew it was sent from a yahoo email address.

I informed him I would contact my attorney and he started yelling at me stating that free advice would get me nowhere. I told him it was not for "free advice", but to actually file suit on him.

He refused to cooperate with me despite my attempt to be exceptionally respectful and courteous. I then contacted my bank to put the stop payment on any ACH by his company.
