On Dec. 9th, I ordered several items from Nomorerack.com. with a guaranteed delivery before Christmas.  The order included 2 pairs of pajamas, outdoor lights, sweeper, headphones, and most importantly, a computer tablet.  Only two items came, the sweeper and the outdoor lights.  Most important was the tablet.  This was a gift for a young boy, our Little in Big Brothers Big Sisters, who had never celebrated Christmas, much less recieved a gift.  With lots of hardwork and great behavior, he proved to us he was responsible enough for the tablet.  We told him he had earned the tablet and promised it to him for Christmas.

We recieved an email last week that items were on back order due to the Long Beach strike.  We were also told that if the items were not received by Dec. 21st, we would be refunded the money plus and additional refund.  This would do little for the young boy expecting the tablet, only another broken promise in a lifetime of let downs. 

I have emailed and filled report after report with the company begging them to either substitute the tablet with another, offered to pay extra for another, or simply send overnight the tablet.  All I have received is a copy and paste reply stating the very same thing as the original letter, due to the strike, there are delays, if not received by the 21st, a full refund. 

When calling many times, I was told they would not substitute, they would only overnight the item if it was not received by the 21st, then told by another, this was a lie.  I was also told there were no supervisors on hand to speak with.  Who is minding the store!!!  I have been hung up on, I have been put on terminal hold, and basically ignored.

The latest this morning, after receiving a notice that the item would arrive UPS on Dec. 28th, again too late for this young man, I was told that they would flag my account and see if something could be done.  After reading the posts on this board, I hold little hope.

I fear I am about to break a young man's heart who had just begun to believe great things really could happen to him, and that he too deserved a special gift.  Nomorerack has taken the magic out of Christmas for him that we worked so hard to restore.
