I have been working at Rent A Center/ Rac for some time now. I keep complaining to management about the equipment that we are using. It seems like we are having a serious issues with certain items. The main one I am writing about is the dollys or hand trucks as I have heard them called now since working here for a couple years.
In travailing to other stores to get merchandise I have noticed that a lot of stores seem to have the same issue with the Dolly/Hand Trucks. Either the handles are gone or the the strap thing doesn't work. Kinda makes it hard being somewhat new to this type of work to get the job done without good equipment.
I was just reaching out to see if anyone else had experienced similar problems and what they did to solve it.
Any advice would be great and welcome

If its that much of a problem why don't you just talk to your manager? Or if you manager doesn't want to spend any money on it talk with your DM and express your concern for your safety. High end dolly are around $400 which are out of budget for monthly expenses. Keep in mind all the supplies you see around the store must be ordered and usually costs about $300 and that's the normal monthly budget. A piano dolly is only around $20-30 in the PETRA catalog.
