I had rented a vehicle from Enterprise on 01/02/2014 due to getting repair to my vehicle after and accident (not my fault). I received the vehicle and left the store at approximately 9:30 AM, I then proceeded to my workplace and the vehicle was parked for 9 hours. When I had got done with work, I walked up to the vehicle and noticed that the vehicle's tire was low and when I got in the vehcile it noted in the dashboard that the air in the tires was low, so I put air in the tire. I found myself having to put air in the tire every other day that I had the vehicle. I turned it in on 01/13/2014. I receieved a call from Enterprise on 01/15/2014 from the store manager asking if I was aware of damage to 2 tires and the rim?

I advised her that I was aware of the tire going low on several occasions, at this time she got defensive and asked why I didn't call them, I advised as a women, I was not too familiar with vehicles, so I assumed it was due to the cold, so I just put air in the tire. She advised that there was damage to the rim, I advised that I had not struck anything nor can imagine why there would be damage to the rim. I advised I frequently put air in the tire to ensure my own safety. She advised that she would have never let this vehicle leave the lot in the condition it was in, however, when I got the vehicle, upon arriving to work, I found used napkins in the back seat as well as chicken wing bones, which leads me to believe it wasn't fully examined.

When I looked at the vehicle when it was given to me, I did not view the tires, instead I focused on cosmetic damage as I would assume that such a reputable company would have ensured tires were in a safe condition. She advised me that when the member of the store brought the truck back, "he barely made it back," so this means he drove the vehicle with a low tire, how do I know he didn't damage it, as Gallatin Rd. is not in the best condition. How long was the vehicle at the body shop? Did he notice the tire before he drove off. I feel that this is a false accusation against me as I was sure to constantly put air in the tire and never allowed it to ride low. I feel there is more behind this accusation than what is being said. She said she would report it to my insurance, however, I don't think even they should pay for something I didn't do, I drove the vehicle to Knoxville without any issues, if a rim was damaged, I would have felt it driving, and I never experienced any issues for the time I drove the vehicle.
