Enterprise rent a car Enterprise Bait and switch practices, overbooking and fake reservations Miami Florida

Made a reservation on October 14th for a December 27th pick up at this location at noon. The reservation was confirmed prior to the pick up date. Started to go south on the day of pick up when I tried calling the location at 9:10am (10 mins after opening) to find out if I can pick it up earlier. I was put on hold 20 mins on two separate occasions before hanging up and driving over to the location. 

I was was told when I arrived that there was a 2hr wait time and that I would recieve my vehicle by 2pm. I asked it I would definitely get my vehicle, the assistant told me yes. They took my credit card and went ahead and processed the payment saying it would speed up the process for check out. I left and awaited there call. 

I called twice after leaving and they told me on both occasions that they were still working on getting my vehicle. On the last call a lady told me that they close at 3 and they would be going to the airport location to get vehicles to satisfy the reservations. Once 3pm arrived and I could no longer get access via phone I got someone to take me over to the branch. 

When i arrived a a lady told me that they tried calling me when they had the vehicle and they didn't get an answer so they void the transaction. I showed her my call history that I didn't have any missed calls and asked why didnt they leave a message. Not to mention they had on record that they were to pick me up. She walked away and went to help another customer without answering me. 

After I started to really get upset by the treatment I was receiving after they already took my payment, the manager showed up and started off by telling me there was no way he was going to get me a vehicle from another location today. That they never got the minivan I reserved almost 2 months prior (differnet story from what I was told by the lady). I told him that didn't match up with what she told me. Of course they were not happy with me calling them out on their lies, so they began to basically tell me I can go anywhere else and rent if I liked. I became apparent to me that the weekend was a big one and looking at the rates listed on their website for that same timeframe, they stood to make more money renting to another person than honoring the reservation I made. 

not to mention they didn't have their merchant number so I could get American express to cancel what they charged. 

Worst customer service ive ever received, they cost me a lot of money as I had to go elsewhere to rent on a busy weekend at the last minute due to their greedy and/or deceptive practices.
