Did your Samsung actually burst into flames or just output some smoke?

There is NO history of this unit having a fire problem.
Many things can cause a unit to smoke. An internal failure can cause fusible resistors to burn open and generate a small amount of smoke. Blocking the air vents can cause it to overheat and eventually burn out.
If it TRULY caught fire (flames visible) you should report this to the appropriate authorities to keep on record for future study.
