After placing order on 23-April with promise to ship within 2-weeks, I heard from Jen at Xymox on 11-May that the product had shipped (I also received a message from FedEx with a tracking number the same day). I have checked the FedEx tracking site daily and they still show the "anticipated ship date" is 10-May. I sent a message to Jen asking for a status on 17-May and did not get any reply. My credit card was charged immediately. I have never had a reputable firm charge my card prior to shipping the product.

This was the only communication I have received from Xymox since the order confirmation from their website.

Good Afternoon,
This is a quick update for those who have placed an order with Xymox since our relaunch on March 14. With orders shipping steadily over the last weeks, we felt it was important to let those who may still be waiting know that the last remaining orders are shipping out this weekend of May 11-13. After a bit of time finding our groove while producing a new line of drum pads, orders now ship out within 7 days. We would like to thank you for your extreme patience during this time and hope our new gear pleases you as much as we hope it will!
Sincerely,
Jen xxxxxxxx

My Two Month Order

AUTHOR: Ben - (United States of America)

POSTED: Tuesday, November 27, 2012

I know this was a long time ago, but i also have had a similar incident. I ordered my pad two months ago, specifically around the September 23-25 range. It was right after a big sale, so i expected to wait awhile.

To this day, November 27, I have not received any notification or delivery date for my tenor pad I ordered. I have called them many times and they have answered once. I asked them just what was the deal and basically is my pad order existent. They told me yes, in  fact my pad shipped that day and i should receive it in the middle of next week.....that was around three weeks ago.

I have followed their facebook instructions on emailing them but i have had no direct answers to the emails. I will update this when or if i ever get my pad.

Ben Hawkins

We agreed to cancel the order.

Xymox contacted me urgently after learning I disputed the charge to my credit card on May 21 (note this is 4 full weeks after they charged my card). They threatened that they certainly won't ship the product (that they informed me shipped on May 10) which is now ready to go if I actually cancel the charge.

I have a hard time trusting anything other than they won't deliver, so I decided to close the transaction with cancellation.

I think they have a really nice and innovative product, but they just don't have a business that should face customers.

I hope they can turn it around.

Want to get their attention?

AUTHOR: Flynrider - (USA)

POSTED: Friday, May 18, 2012

When these poorly run online vendors decide that they don't need to communicate with their customers about late orders, there is one option that is guaranteed to get their attention.   File a dispute with your credit card company.    Your item did not ship as promised and without communication from the seller, you have no expectation that it will ship.   That is a valid dispute and I guarantee you that as soon as the credit card company reverses the charge, you'll be hearing from the seller right away.
