I received an e-mail that I had a $10 credit on my next purchase at nomorerack.com - it would be applied at checkout. However, when I made a purchase on the site (on the same day I received the coupon), the coupon did not work, so the only way to reach nomorerack.com customer service was by sending an email, since they disconnected their 800# lines since they ere "too busy" to answer customer phone calls - go figure... Anyway, it took 7 days for a customer service rep to respond to my request, and she said that she couldn't help me because my $10 coupon had "expired". However, it would not have expired if it had not taken so long for a rep to respond to my request.... The "best" that they could do was to force me to buy an additional $30 of merchandise from their site that I didn't want in order to receive the original $10 discount that I should have gotten in the first place. If this isn't a "rip off", then I don't know what is! It took me 10 emails back and forth between dumb service reps who didn't care about my issue and simply copied and pasted their same responses over and over. What they should have done is to issue a $10 credit to my method of payment since I had proof that it was valid on the date of purchase - the date I contacted them in the first place. Why should I be in the wrong because it took them so long to respond to me???? Nomorerack.com is truly an awful company with below-standard customer service levels. They say they care about people, but give me a break - if they did - they would not have driven me to make a formal complaint on this web site; they should have just done the right thing and credited my card with the freakin' $10!!!!

All nomorerack.com customer service reps are "programmed" to provide the canned response that they will get back to each customer inquiry within 24 hours and that they are "here to help". This is funny because my whole issue is that my promotional credit of $10 expired because it took their customer service more than 4 days to respond to my initial complaint that my coupon wasn't working. By that time, the coupon "expired", and the representatives said that the only way they could honor the $10 would be if I made yet another purchase from their site. Had they responded within their 24-hour guaranteed promise time, the issue would have more than likely been resolved, and I would be talking about it now.... 

Incidentally, trying to get any "basic" information from this company is like pulling teeth. I filed a claim with my bank, who is disputing the $10 amount; however, the bank representative asked me for the mailing address for momorerack.com, so a copy of the dispute could be mailed via snail mail. When I emailed nomorerack.com and requested their address, the response I received from 2 separate representatives was that they were "not quite sure what I was looking for when I said 'address'"..... Come on... You've got to be kidding... How much clearer could I be? An address is an address.
