I have done business with this company for many years. I have paid off numerous items in the past years and never had problems before. I have rent 6 items this past 7 months and have been always on time with my items and payed always a day or two ahead of time.

Now after 7 months of paying nothing but good on my accounts. I had a hardship time this past month and RAC had to either give me a ext. to next payday due to my wifes SSI getting cut,but always caught up the couple times I was late the following week. the management told me because i was going to return my items because i couldn't efford it this week.not to and he would get me by until my next payday. they have called me,and hounded me on a Saturday, and finally well returning his call, he told me over the phone and promising me he would help out until next payday, suddenly he couldn't.

I guess after looking at my account, and several Item(s) soon to be paid off. suddenly they no longer can help you out. if your new to the company of renting Items. they will bend over backwards to help you if your stuck paying, they wil make sure you will get from one payday to the next payday. but soon as your near the payoff mark and paying them $117.00 a week for merchandise you rented. suddenly thay no longer can help you.

It's called a customer almost paid off, donot help them, tell them there extensions to help is up.come pickup there merchandise and resell it for almost the same price you buy it for,and all the extra profit makes the company rich, well the consumer is left with the bag hanging. every week on th spot I handed them over $117.00 cash. and more gladly to accept your money. if this isn't money thrown down the drain do the math $117.00 X 4 weeks X 7 months = $3,276.00 and not counting the months that had 5 paydays to it. but $3,276.00 they were gladly to accept for merchandise in there register over a 7 month period of time. and they can't help you out because you are close to paying items off?

My advise I have learned a lesson, never to rent items again.especially from Rent-A-Center.they are now over priced, the Management over this Campbellsville location is harsh with his customers and in experienced. and will rip you off in a heart beat when your item(s) are almost paid off.

So a lesson well learned.but do want to pass this on to any consumer that if you want to get ripped off, go to Rent-A-Center. If you don't stay away from these places that all your doing is throwing your money away in a money pit,and the items will never be yours in the long run.because this is how corporations like this stay in business to rip off the small guys like us.they don't care, they sleep like a baby at night, and don't respond back to you, because they don't want to hear about it,until you place them in a consumer spotlight like this or turn them into the Better Business Bureau, well us small guys are hanging with the bag.

I am very dissatisfied with Rent-A-Center considering the numerous years I have dealt with them, that they would turn there backs to the consumers. a fair warning, stay away from companies like this,in fact all rent ceneter who display rent to own,and no credit check.I guess not.you pay them alot above asking price, than you get hanging with the bag and lost alot of money, because it will never be yours.

This company is a Rip Off and stay away from any RAC,fair warning and very dissatisfied customer.

admittedly sh**ty timing on your last purchases but, really, after 7 years you finally figured out that they are over priced, really, lol. OMG what scam artists they are!!!! making ppl agree by contract(of their own free will) to pay high intrest rates to own merchandise in a free market economy. how can they sleep at night, the b**tards!!!! any flaming you get for this nonsense is fully deserved. 7 years of dealing with them and now you are gonna complain about over priced merchandise ROFL!!!!
