For 3 or 4 months, my wife and I rented 3 items from Rent-a-Center. In that time we had 3 or 4 customer issues. Immediately,we wuild call, and after explaining that particular issue, we were always told - not to worry - I'll take care of it - and call you back before the end of the day. We always tried to call first thing in the morning to give them time to respond.
After several days, we would have to follow up. Never did we ever recieve a phone call about our issues. Then hen e did come in, nobody would take the blame, and only in one case were things solved to our satisfaction.
The straw that broke our backs was when we were treated very rudely but the store manager and I was called a liar. At that point, I contacted their corporate office by email and a phone call to resolve everything . I was told the district manager ould call back within 24 hours which he did. Unfortunately, I could not take his call, but I called back and left a message, apologizing, and that I was still waiting for his call. 10 days later, I had to go into the store to resolve everything myself.
Rent-a-Center's customer is nonexistant. We did consistantly get phone calls from them Five minutes after the store opened on the day our payment was due, or when they ere having a special event sale.
They were only interested in getting a contract signed, getting you out the door, and then bugging the heck out of you when the payment was due.
Another tactic they used was to never have the same person call, so you never who you were dealing with.

I personally had to resolve the matter myself, because the District Manager didn't respond properly either, just like the manager and his employees. It's too late to resolve anything. You could give me something for free and I ouldn't accept it. Please read the other rip-off reports.

You start off your title by saying that they ignored EVERY issue you had. Yet in your report it doesn't show that. You say that only one time was something solved to your satisfaction, well right there it is not EVERY time is it? Next, when you called the District Manager he did call you back when he said, yet YOU didn't take the call. Perhaps his wasn't the only call you missed. Also, what were these "issues" you reported, and what did you say to the Store Manager that caused him to say that you were a liar.
